I am a writer, speaker, and educator with a passion for helping others get their stories told, or empowering them to speak up about their lives. My primary background is in journalism, communication, and education. Many of my articles cover exciting events and interesting people.

I am also passionate about traveling and experiencing new languages and cultures. Sometimes I venture into a personal essay or a poem, sometimes with humor and others with dramatic flair.
